this design focuses on the interplay between the exterior areas with natural and peaceful views, and the apartment's interior space. the mountain view inspired mnb design studio’s concept, and we wanted to integrate the view as much as possible.

we wanted to bring the natural exterior elements into the apartment, and with the huge glass windows, one feels peaceful and serene, almost as if they are at a mountaintop.
when entering this apartment, one of the most significant selling points is the vast, crystal-clear glass windows where one can gaze at the vast swaths of greenery outside.
to continue with the mountain peak concept, we decided to incorporate the mountain slope element into the design.
there is also a 'fireplace' where the family can gather around in an inviting and warm atmosphere by the firelight.
the chimney of the fireplace acts as both a convenient bookshelf and handy tv cabinet.
to maintain the light and airy atmosphere of the apartment, the wall-facing kitchen and the siding of the bookshelf are painted pure white with concealed design for air conditioning.
we planned the interior in such a way that the mountain view outside the apartment remains as the central focal point no matter where a person stands inside the area.
mimicking the imagery of hills, the design of sideboard door is in different slope angles.

the material used were timber, white wall paint and terrazzo stone in master bedroom. Wooden panel build from walk-in closet to bed headboard, with concealed design to enter bathroom.
a minimal design align all items, a full height storage around the master bed. A huge white over head cabinet can greatly save the storage, also below the mattress.
